I noticed that this sintax for making a data-dvd is used by gnomebaker:

genisoimage -gui -V disco dati GnomeBaker -A GnomeBaker -p realname realsurname -iso-level 3 -l -r -hide-rr-moved -J -joliet-long -graft-points --path-list /tmp/GnomeBaker-user/gnomebaker-ZSSTYT | builtin_dd of=/dev/sr1 obs=32k seek=0

The option "-p" is intended to burn on the disk informations about the creator of the disk. This can be an issue if the user needs to create an anonymous disk and the true name and surname has been recorded in the passwd file during os setup.

The "-p" option must be used ONLY if the user has been informed with a pop-up: it must be a choice, not a feature!

Ciao

ps - Escuse for my bad english.
