Hello Rubens,

now i'd started to port my TypoScript IDE "SweeTS" ( http://typo3.area42.de/ ) to Linux based on the editor gEdit and GnoCHM.
The first step is done i wrote a language reference plugin for gEdit ( http://my.opera.com/area42/blog/gedit-language-reference-plugin )

What i'm missing are command line options of GnoCHM to search or lookup a word in the index or starting with a
search of a word in a given chm file.

KchmViewer has the following features:
kchmviewer typoscript.chm --sindex "template" <- Lookup of "template" in the index and showing the available content
or
kchmviewer typoscript.chm --search "template" <- search for "template" in the chm file.

Is this possible with GnoCHM too? I do not like to mix Gnome and KDE apps, so i prefer GnoCHM.

Sorry for using the bug report for a feature request but you email address of sourceforge.net didn't work :(

Thanx. Best regards.
Greeting from Berlin/ Germany.

    Hi,

I've got a question - are you able to execute those commands while kchmviewer is already running with typoscript.chm opened? In other words, would these command line options be used to control gnochm externally? (as opposed to just being used when opening a file initally)

    Cheers
    Rubens

    Hello Rubens,

the parameters of kchmviewer are just start parameters meters and did not updated at runtime, because running kchmviewer typoscript.chm --sindex "template" will open a new kchmviewer instance.
