I would very much like to see a feature like this implemented in the near future:
With my many CD's (just index'ed number 302, I think) I often come across several ways of spelling the same name, e.g.:
Bassey, Shirley
Shirley Bassey
Why doesn't gmmusic recognize that this is most likely the same artist?
Also, sometimes it's wish to commaize things make everything 'weird'. For Instance, it would like Ace Of Base to be listed as:
Base, of Ace, giving 'of Ace Base', when retransformed. So not right. This seems to be a bug? It shouldn't even have the comma here, but I was too quick to submit it. Later fixed manually. It will probably be a problem for any artist with more than one last name, though...
It can deal with stuff like this just fine, though:
Hall, Darryl and Oates, John -> Darryl Hall and John Oates.
It would also be nice to be prompted in certain cases if one wishes the song field split into artist and song field. It could simply be a button, giving you a prompt to enter separator and occurance, e.g. '-' and '1', for split at first '-'.
A 'Swap Artist And Song' button would also be handy. This has happened on a couple of occasions for me...
That's about it for now :)

The 'Swap Artist And Song' button is really a nice idea,
we'll put it onto our TODO list.
I know the problem with the names, but we still did not find
a solution for this. It's very difficult to divide the
artist's name into forename and last name.
Thanks for your report,
Manfred
