Anyone ever use gmerlin recorder with Hauppauge 1212 hd-pvr? I can use command line ffmpeg to do it, but then I can't monitor the recording. VLC can record while monitoring, but the quality is terrible. I'd like to try gmerlin recorder to record from my Hauppauge hd-pvr 1212. It recognizes the device and shows the controls for brightness, etc., but it has no way to select the inputs. The device has three video inputs: component, composit and s-video, and 3 audio inputs: analog front, analog rear, and spdif. v4l2-ctl utility can select the input, but gmerlin doesn't seem to talk to v4l2-ctl. Could I edit the config.xml file somehow and specify the input selection file there? Anyone have an idea to do it?
