rng-tools version 4 has been released. See NEWS for release notes.
The rng-tools git repository is available at git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/utils/kernel/rng-tools/rng-tools.git
The yearly ethtool update is available (it doesn't see a lot of action) at its home page,
http://sf.net/projects/gkernel/
or directly via git SCM:
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/network/ethtool/ethtool.git
New locations:
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/network/ethtool/ethtool.git
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/utils/kernel/blktool/blktool.git
Minor release, pushing out the pending feature code that has been submitted since last release.

ethtool is a utility for controlling Linux network hardware.
In a belated announcement, ethtool and blktool repositories have moved to kernel.org:
git+rsync+http://www.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/jgarzik/blktool.git/
git+rsync+http://www.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/jgarzik/ethtool.git/
Minor bugfix release, see release notes/changelog for more details.

If you wish to track the blktool source code, you may do so with the BitKeeper utility at the following URLs:
bk://gkernel.bkbits.net/blktool

The ethtool source code has been migrated from CVS to BitKeeper. To download the latest ethtool source code, pull/clone from bk://gkernel.bkbits.net/ethtool
A small update of ethtool has been released.
As ethtool by its nature sees only an update or two a year, its version numbering scheme has been simplified. The version will now be a single ascending number.
Intended as both an easier 'hdparm' and also a more flexible tool.
The 8139too and via82cxxx_audio drivers were removed from the download section. They were out of date, and the most recent versions can always be obtained by downloading kernels from http://www.kernel.org/
The package of utilities and daemon for Linux hardware random generators (RNGs), rng-tools, has been updated to version 1.1.

Minor update of ethtool package is now available at http://sf.net/projects/gkernel/
Package intel-rng-tools was renamed to rng-tools, and version 1.0 was released. This package is a set of tools for use with hardware random number generators (RNGs). Intel, AMD, and Via manufacturers all sell hardware with RNGs.
There are no significant changes between rng-tools 1.0 and intel-rng-tools 0.9.[12], except removal of "intel" everywhere. The rng-tools package fully supports hardware RNGs from AMD and Via, as well as Intel.
The 8139too Linux kernel net driver was updated to version 0.9.26, and it includes several bug fixes and some new features (specifically ethtool features).
The ethtool utility was updated to support more NIC models, and includes some bug fixes and documentation updates.
Both software packages are available for download at
http://sf.net/projects/gkernel/
Linux network driver 8139too was updated to fix an oops and improve performance and stability on loaded networks. Users are recommended to upgrade.

ethtool version 1.4 is now released on the sourceforge homepage, http://sf.net/projects/gkernel/
It has been updated to support all features supported in the latest 2.4.x series of Linux kernel releases. See the changelog for more details.

With the release of kernel 2.4.6, gkernel cvs's linux_2_4 module now stores latest 2.4 [modified] kernel in HEAD branch always.
Two new packages were recently added to the download section of the gkernel project, "kcompat24" and "ethtool".
kcompat24 is a toolkit for kernel developer's, which allows a Linux 2.4 kernel driver to be used on older kernels.
ethtool is a program, originally only available on SparcLinux, which obtains and updates information on your ethernet card. Once full driver support is completed, this tool is intended to be the standard ethernet media tool for Linux.... read more
