I am trying to get a driver for an Apple LaserWriter Select 360 for OS X 10.9 Mavericks. I have installed Gutenprint 5.2.10a, but the system fails to see the printer.
Any suggestions?

Found the solution. The printer is connected with a USB to Parallel adapter. The printer was not visible to Printer Preferences so it could not be added. I installed USBTB and the printer shows up and the apple PPD works again. USBTB is found on the Gutenprint site and probably will work with older printers on Yosemite
