Another weekend that pushes Giggler closer to the world!

Finally my very first two modules published. Giggler, the core and giggler-ui, the module giving Giggler a face.

Gonna have to write some docs about the basics of the plugin-system. That will make clear what happens once the ship starts to roll.

Still gotta write either some installation documentation first or push my testing environment to the public so that anyone out there stumbling over Giggler has a chance to check it out... but not this weekend. Its late, and I'm tired.

During the last two years I have been going a long way when it came down to the name of this platform and especially when it gets down to its icon.

Today I pretty much fixed the idea behind the name and made an icon I feel comfortable with.
With todays flow I even managed to replace that odd sourceforge default website (sorry guys).

I have no clue if this website will be ever changed or not - honestly. I do call my self java developer and my last experience with html is about 6-8 years ago. Now I know again why I have been putting that job behind me. Don't argue with me, I know here is much more convenient web technology out there and most part of it is fun to work with.... read more

It started years ago, and its still far away from being finished. So why go public?

I'm proud. Proud how far I got, proud what I did archieve. There's surely other stuff thats bigger, higher, faster, cleaner, quicker and cooler out there. But Giggler is mine!

Yet just a wiki page and this blog is done, more will follow. Much more. And there is still a lot to do from what I've got so far to that point where others would recommend the use of it.... read more
