Please add a possibility to empty the trash after downloading emails or permanently deleting emails when reading them.

    (what's the rationale behind ? Trash will be emptied anyway after 24 hours, that's why I put it at low priority).

    is it configurable? some of the mailboxes are deleting items and some don't - do you know how can it be configured?

    Trash is no longer emptied after 24 hours.

    I suggest two approaches to this: either provide an empty trash
    option, or provide the ability to completely delete a specific
    message.

    This second option would be possible since message IDs are unique, and
    a message could first be moved to the Deleted folder, and then
    deleted, using its message ID.
