Please make the origin selectable, some random point does not help.
Naturally a fiducial would be most useful, as other machine files use this, so data can be compared, checked and edited.
This point should be applicable to all the layers.
I noticed that I CAN save the layer with the edited origin, but this has to be done separately for each layer. A global offset for all layers, that is saved, would be quicker, and have no chance of a different offset sneaking in (typo) for a layer.
