Hi,
i downloaded the geomview-1.8.1-4.i386.rpm for the redhat and i tried to install it on my red hat 8.0 . When i try to run it, it gave through the shell, it gave me this error: segmentation fault.
my machine is being labelled by the red hat linux as i686. Does this means that i cannot install the above rpm file?

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
In an effort to make deploying geomview to our RedHat Linux (7.1) workstations easier, I built a geomview-1.8.1 RPM.
Feel free to peruse what I've done at:
http://www.math.unl.edu/~rdieter/Software/Linux/apps/geomview/
I would not classify this as a bug, however it would make a suitable addition to a bugs/warnings list...
When compiling on a multi-processor linux box with the "make -j 2" option, clisp.h js not yeat created in the source tree...
Solution is to rerun the make when it bombs the first time.
Possibly the proper way to fix this would be to make all necessary header files then respawn the make.
