I just spotted this mapping for a ubiqutin ligase. I think the GO term is specifically for adding a single amino acid at a time (not a protein).
(Maybe a new GO term is required for this?)
Thank you for this. I have deleted "GO:0016881 acid-amino acid ligase activity" in this entry and added GO:0019787 small conjugating protein ligase activity for now. Once the new term is built, I will replace it with the new term. This result will be visible in InterPro 49.0.
