I don't think hardware I2C appears in the help file; at least I can't find it. So that got me wondering if it works or not. Here's a simple yes/no question for everyone:
"Have you successfully used hardware I2C on a PIC?"

The hardware I2C routines should work on PIC, but not on AVR at present. I used them successfully on a 16F882 a couple of years back, and haven't heard of any problems.

Agree it does work. I tested last year and all was ok.
