Hello. I have been using Linux on my Palm TX for a bit now, and thought up some ideas which would be great to implement into the bootloader(Garux). Would you be-able to make Garux automagically create a kernel parameter called palmdate=MMDDhhmm ? For example, Garux will take the time PalmOS reports and pass it as a 'date' command compatible parameter. The initrd which the developer makes can use this kernel parameter to automagically set the time for Linux before mounting and changing into the root file system.
I am sure everybody who boots Linux on Palm really doesn't like setting the time every single time. I was going to see if I can add this myself, however I am not all that good with C and palm functions.
Thanks, great program!
