#433 Gabber disconnects with accented letters

While in one-on-one chat (I haven't tryied the other
message types), if I write down an accented letter
(like ů or ŕ) an I hit enter, I get an ˙ instead, the
following characters are not printed, and gabber
disconnects from the server.

Gabber doesn't actually crash; just disconnect, nor the
one-on-one chat window is closed.

This seems to happen only with 0.8.7 version; I
previosly had an older version which did not have dis
bug, but I just can't remember which this version was :-)

This is quite a minor bug, but quite annoying for
italian people (italian is full of accented letters!).
