DownloadFTPprune is a Perl script to manage the size of a remote ftp archive. It was originally developed to manage offsite copies of Zoneminder CCTV events, but can be used with any FTP file archive. FTPprune will go through the archive and remove the oldest files reducing the archive size to a maximum that you specify, optionally preserving the last (-a) days of files. There are a few other options too - see the wiki for command line usage and Perl modules required.

- Ignore a list of specified extensions, comma separated (e.g. for index.html)
- New feature: -l option as a hard limit, regardless of all soft limits
