Samba: not enough disk space error / Windows Vista
Within the webgui you are able to configure a root share to access all volumes. This is a nice feature but comes with a caveat. Warn the user when he creates this share.
Explorer of Windows XP works fine, but some applications and Windows Vista shows the error 'not enough free disk space'.
Example:
Myshare01 /mnt samba reports disk space of root volume, writing fails to mount points underneath
Myshare02 /mnt/volume2 this works fine
Myshare03 /mnt/volume3 this works fine
Hi,
Samba has been updated to 3.0.32 in FreeNAS 0.69b3 revision >= 3803, maybe this will fix your problem. Please give it a try:
