In the web interface of mediatomb the ROOT FILESYSTEM
is visible.
This seems as a security risk to me as every user on the lan can see it.

Hi,
you're right, but MediaTomb doesn't have a solution to restrict this. The only one is to disable the web interface. Can be set via WebGUI in UPnP section.
