Hi
Imagine you have one application with 2 Micro controller (RTM_DEV)
Then you are working on your application and also your Micro controllers so you need to keep open all designing pages which means you need to switch between your application and resource without referring to System Manager !
But in that case when you want to save your change in application you also need to save all open pages too, such as your resource and etc.
It can be make some problems:
1-You have already change in one the resource but you don`t want to save it at this moment but at the same time you want to save your application changes
2-Read/Write on disk are very costly in that scenario, which means you have very costly Save process in huge applications
3-It also can make problem in resource naming
4-If you want to do like this what is the deference between save and save all in 4DIAC-IDE
For more information you can see video.

The problem is that applications, subapplications, system editor, resource editor are views on the same model. If you hit save we need to save the whole model otherwise it can be that we save your system in a wrong state and it could get unloadable. I posted a longer discussion in about this in this forum thread: https://sourceforge.net/p/fordiac/discussion/708250/thread/f7aa469d/
Therefore I currently see no option to implement it differently in 4DIAC.
The save all button is when you have changes in several systems and/or have changes in function blocks it will save these all changes.
