Now the problem can until now just be recreated with sylpheed. If I minimize sylpheed to the tray. Alt+Tab opens the window. This doesn't happen with pidgin,vidalia or any other app I minimize to the tray. Only with sylpheed!

This is completely expected, from our point of view. Sylpheed doesn't withdraw its window, but rather just minimizes it. Minimized windows are included in the alt-tab list by default, whereas withdrawn windows are removed from memory entirely.
