#1099 MonoDevelop GTK# Designer isnt working

MonoDevelop GTK# Visual Designer isnt working with fluxbox v1.3.2 (from stable Debian 7.2 repo).

To reproduce:
- clean install of Debian 7.2 with GNOME Desktop + apt-get fluxbox + apt-get MonoDevelop with all deps
- login with fluxbox
- run monodevelop, create Gtk# project, go to visual designer

1) Designer will show undecorated form instead of decorated
2) Drag'n'drop of containers or widgets will not work

In GNOME Classic session or under OpenBox MD works fine.
But if you during GNOME Classic session kill metacity and run fluxbox MD stops working, if you then kill fluxbox and run metacity - MD will start working again.

ps. MonoDevelop version 3.0.3.2 - also from stable Debian 7.2 repo
pps. i found several forum posts on the internet about this problem but no solution or workaround

i use monodevelop-4.0.12 (-dfsg-2, debian-sid) and fluxbox-git (9b40943deaac2c72d3cc1c6ec4645a32562ab810). attached a screenshot showing a working monodevelop. fluxbox-1.3.2 is quite old, if you can reproduce the bug with 1.3.5 and a more recent version of monodevelop we can talk again.
