I have released a new version of the Flash RSS API. This version now comes with a example.fla file so that you can test to make sure you are importing the class files correctly.

Also, in a major upgrade I have removed the dependancy from Neeld Tanksley's XPath API. I now use the built in Flash XPath API. This should significantly reduce file sizes and complications with this class file.

If you still want Neeld's release of the XPath API please use version 1.0 of the RSS API. I will maintain both for bugs and releases for the time being. I have changed the CVS repository to a SVN repository. I did this because on my own personal server I am running SVN; and I felt it would be easier to have a couple of SVN repositories rather than a couple CVS repositories. If you have any problems viewing the repository let me know.

This is a completely stable and usable RSS API. It extends the built in XML object. This makes it very simple to understand it's behavior.

Please post in the forum if you need support on how to utilize this API.

I have generated a API documentation for the SimpleRSS object. This documentation can be found here. I have posted a version of it in the documentation section as well. I am going to try and work on getting it up in it's entirety on this site.

I have posted the files from http://www.xfactorstudio.com/ on the site.

They are also in the repository. This is incase I need to make modifications to the files during development.

These files were not written by me originally; they were originally written by Neeld Tanksley.

All of the files needed for the SimpleRSS object have been added to the CVS repository. This is the exact class files I use in my applications. These are also completely up-to-date.

The only real problem is that my version numbers are different than the ones from SourceForge.net; upcoming releases of the documentation and files will standardize the revision numbers.
