    I'm wondering if GT.M could run on the "Kerrighed" Linux cluster.
    The main features are:
    * Cluster wide process management
    * Support for cluster wide shared memory, Cluster wide PIDs,
        Process migration with open files, pipes, sockets, shared memory segments, etc.

    Has some else (or Bhaskar) looked at this too?
    More info at http://www.kerrighed.org

    I have not looked into it.  Please do feel free to try it and post your results.  Thank you very much.

    Hi,

    I've just accidentaly found this old thread and have to say that I tried Kerrighed as well as OpenSSI. The result is that it absolutely didn't work! :-(
    Kerrighed crashed just when I started two GT.M jobs on two separated Kerrighed nodes with a shared database file. I have tried it multiple times and it always crashed soon or later. OpenSSI was hard to get installed and running, so I never finished this part of experiment.

    It's funny to read this thread because my experiment is also dated to the beginning of 2010 without noticing your post at all!
    I think no one of these projects did any step forward in last two years, so the situation should be very similar today.

    Tom
