It would be nice to have firehol support NIS/YP as a
service. I was trying to set up firehol on a server at
work and that was kind of a killer.

    I don't have a NIS/UP setup here. Could you please share
    with us what you did, so that I can integrate it to the
    standard FireHOL?

    Well, I did nothing. I found that NIS wasn't supported and
    gave up of sorts (not enough time to fiddle with firehol).
    But if I'm not wrong its a matter of duplicating rules_nfs()
    to create rules_nis() and make the appropriate changes.

    I'm going to pull the latest firehol from cvs and I'll look
    into this next week when I get some window of time to test
    it on the server and see if it doesn't break anything.

    Ok, I've created the rules for NIS. Its working ok here, but
    it only works for clients and/or single server
    configurations (as explained in a comment in the code).
