When I am playing music through Fire.fm my bandwidth meter shows a constant download of between 100 and 150Kbps. This is what I would expect for streaming music. However, when I pressed stop, the music stopped and the download rate stayed the same. It appears it stopped playing, but didn't stop streaming. It wasn't until I closed Firefox that my download rate dropped to zero. I closed all the tabs to make sure it wasn't some other tab using the bandwidth. I also opened Firefox with all the same tabs open, but didn't start Fire.fm, and after initial load the download rate still dropped to zero. I am pretty sure it is Fire.fm that is causing the constant download rate.
I can replicate this consistently:
i)Open Firefox
ii)Wait for initial load to finish, download rate to settle at zero (this is also to ensure no other addons are using bandwidth)
iii)Start a station using Fire.fm
Download rate is ~100-150Kbps
iv)Stop Fire.fm
Download rate stays ~100-150Kbps
v)Close Firefox
Download rate drops to zero
I am using Fire.fm 1.2.3 and Firefox 3.0.7.

Thank you for looking into this issue and for the great add-on (I use it daily).
