The output pane scrolls by very quickly during compiling and unpacking. It is impossible to read things that fast. Sometimes you want to take a look while the package is still building, but each time new output comes, the pane scrolls to the bottom. It would be nice if it worked like Terminal.app, where if the user scrolled up using the scrollbar, position would be held until the user scrolled back down to the bottom, at which time the scrolling would continue as before.

Obviously, this is very minor, so take the suggestion for just that.

In the Preferences window under the Display tab you can
toggle "Scroll to the bottom when input is received". If
you've turned this option off the output pane will work as
you described above. Does this meet your needs?
