The majority of Win32 users is not thorougly familiar
with working in a console environment, however often it
would be helpful if Win32 users could provide a
detailed startup log of fgfs, so that issues could be
traced more easily. In this regard it would be useful
if fgrun could simply provide a possibility to make use
of the most important debug options in FlightGear.
Specifically, it seems like a good idea to add an
option to automatically create a fully detailed
(--log-level=bulk) startup report and save it to a
custom text file. Such a text file could then be posted
to the mailing list directly, and it would no longer be
necessary to provide Win32 users with a step by step
introduction about how to configure and start fgfs from
a console window.
