When trying to re-encode video made from the FCEUX emulator, the recording programs give an error and are unable to proceed with the re-encoding process.

Programs tried so far:
Boilsoft Video Joiner
VirtualDub
VirtualDubMod

Note: When added to VirtualDubs, it appears as if the video is stereoscopic with custom made watermark on the right video and nothing on the left video.

but yet folks use it all the time to write and encode avis. and it works just fine for me right now. which os? which version of fceux?

oh yes, and it is important to choose a good codec when writing out the avi from fceux. the best codec is uncompressed.
