I use a floppy to transfer small directories and files back-and-forth between the netbook (USB External Floppy Disk Drive) and the Desktop (internal floppy drive). I format the disk in Ext2 or Ext3, and sometimes it would be convenient to view the disk's contents from within MS Windows.
Right now an A: drive of any kind does not appear in the Volume list.
A flash drive would work fine, but sometimes a 2GB - 8GB drive is a bit much for Linux-sized files. 1.44MB makes a more reasonable fit, and it's possible to write on the label what's on the disk.

Would it be a lot of trouble to add that?
