It would greatly help usability if eviacam could detect the opening and closing of the eyes and mouth on the face it detects and translate them into mouse clicks.
First of all, congratulation to the authors of the project... wonderful!
The other existing solutions I know are too expensive for most of the people, so this project may be the only way for many disabled people to communicate and dispel some of their anguish at not being able to move.
Now commenting the request: Yes, open the mouth for clicking could be an optional feature that would largely increase the usability of the system, reducing frustration, and fastening communication. Blinking eyes may lead to more false-positive clicks, but that could be an option between methods (timer, eyes, mouth...)
Please go ahead with this feature and, again, congratulations on this project!
Best Regards,
