Installed easily on kubuntu 12.04 but seem to have some inconsistencies dealing with spaces in directory names. working from a directory that looks like this: >ls -l gd72-11-19.sbd.gans.miller.122783.flac16 gd78-05-05.114348.sbd.miller.t-flac16 gd78-05-13.116978.set2.sbd.miller.t-flac16 jg1972-02-06.jgms.sbd.gems.flac16 John McLaughlin 4th Dimension, Tante Ju, Dresden-GER, 2012-11-09 Trail of Dead 2012-11-04 I found that specifying the current directory: > md5check . leads to "Can't chdir to ./Trail of Dead 2012-11-04: No such file or directory" While > md5check works perfectly. Run md5check without the 'dot'. Also note that shn2mp3 will not downsample (seems obvious) 24 bit files but will write, for instance, 48 kHz mp3's. If you want cd writable output, be sure to start with 16/44.1 files. Thanks Caleb - love the tools!
