I do a lot of work on a OpenVMS 7.1 DEC hardware mainframe and I need to have ETerm transmit what I term as the GOLD KEY. This is normally the NUM LOCK key/PF1. I really would like to have Eterm emulate the VT terminal keypad.

Eterm will send the proper PF1 sequence if the XK_KP_F1 keysym is received from the X server. Read the xmodmap man page for details on how to change key mappings if you don't have a keypad F1 key.
