#1 Password protected access
It would be useful to protect access to a DHT using a password.
One Idea would be to use HOTP (HMAC One Time Password) to create rolling encryption keys to secure communication between nodes and ensure their authenticity (only nodes using the correct encryption key can communicate with rest)
