    Hello there!

I just installed Enigmail 2.0 on Thunderbird 52.6.0 (ubuntu 16.04) and it seems to completely replace all the context menu for a message with a "Decrypt to folder" context menu (single entry with a submenu)
This is everywhere in the main window, even in sub-browser windows.

Is this a "feature"? I want my right-click menu to handle messages back :-)

That's weird. There is no reason for Enigmail to do that. Enigmail should only add an entry - and not replace the menu. How does the "Message" menu look like (that should have 1:1 the same entries)?

    Hey Patrick,

the message menu (from the menubar) is correct, but it doesnt have the "Decrypt to folder" submenu...

This happens only with 2.0 (including the latest nightly), NOT 1.9.9.

Even more strange, as I didn't change that part. I can't reproduce this - neither on macOS nor on Linux.

Do you use Thunderbird as provided by Ubuntu, or did you install the official version from mozilla.com?

I created a nightly build with a blind attempt to fix this. Can you try this and let me know if it changes something:

    I didn't change that part
    That's also what I always say... ;-)

Anyways, your blind fix works! Now, the "Decrypt to folder" menu is added to the context menu instead of being replaced.

I'm using Thunderbird directly from the Ubuntu reprositories

I think that explains. I assume that there are small differences between the official TB and the Ubuntu TB.
I really didn't change the GUI, but I did indeed change the way how the GUI is loaded. And that's probably where the error is.
