#418 Change Encryption / Signing menuitems
At the moment the status of encryption / signing is shown in the menu with the text ON / OFF after the text. This doesn't look good (all caps looks like shouting) and I think it would be better to show the current status with the checked attribute (type of the menuitem should be checkbox). This is the standard way throughout all Thunderbird menuitems to display that an item is on (checked) or off (not checked)...

This doesn't work for PGP/MIME vs. inline (which should behave similarly). Apart from this, I agree that this could be a good solution. I would add in brackets if the value was determined automatically or set manually. Eg.:
(x) Encrypt (auto)
