#40 system crashes after installation

hi
after installing the emu10k1-v0.20a and the
emu-tools-0.9.4 package, i got the following problem
after reboot:
login fails(wdm does not load) instead of the login
screen i get a message :
bash-2.05: no job control in this shell
instead of the "usual" bash, the bash-2.05 appears.
there is no login!
after typing login, i can log as root but the other
user account is not valid --> login incorrect
after typing the username a message appears:
System bootup in progress - please wait
a second later i can type in passw

anybody got an idea?
i really need help as fast as possible!
