Using:
ed2k-gtk-gui version 0.6.2-cvs2004020215
Overnet core version 0.51.2

Connection between core and gui are type "remote"

After a search written in the search field of the GUI and
performing the search it is not possible to remove the
search results from the GUI window unless the gui is
restarted.

also it would be really nice to be able to see the details
of the download, ie. "!m # v" sort of thing where the gui
could show only waiting connections and current
connections.

You have tried clicking on the 'X' button in the search page notebook?

And right-clicked on the search list and chosen 'forget search'?

Is this the Windows GUI or Linux GUI?

If Linux/*nix, could you try running the GUI from the command line to
see if it outputs any assertion failures or so when you try to close a
    search result list.

    Cheers

The version in question is the Windows Version

The right-click forget search does work. Must admit that I did
not notice that one. However the X button is "inactivated" :)
once the search has been completed - At this point only
right-clicking and coosing "forget search" will work.

So perhaps this is not a direct bug but more of a
    inconveniance.

I get that between a linux overnet core and a Win32 ed2k GUI
over a network. The only way to close all those search tabs
    is a restart the GUI.

My Core: overnet 0.51 (*nix build 08112003) - running on
    mdk92
    My GUI: 0.6.2 Win32 (cvs2004020215) - running on Win2003
