#354 Check configuration default value not taken into account

With eclipse 4.2.2 under mac osx, I can change the default value for the check configuration and set it to a personal config but this change is not taken into account : the check configuration being used is always "Sun Checks".

Same problem with eclipse 3.8

This issue doesn't appear under Ubuntu.

Can't reproduce this using Eclipse 4.2.x on Windows. I also don't see how the behaviour could be differing between operating systems.

Please check your project directory whether a .checkstyle file (that is an actual project related configuration) is present there - because the config therein would always take precedence over the workspace default configuration.

If so, remove the .checkstyle file and the check configuration marked as default in the preferences should apply.

I suppose this isn't an issue anymore. Please reopen if you still have issues, preferable with detailed instructions to reproduce.
