The podcast consists of a 45 minute interview by Sacha Schlegel with Kathryn Breininger and Farrukh Najmi on the state of ebXML Registry and Repository standard.

The freebXML Registry server has successfully been tested in a deployment that uses Oracle 10g database. Kudos to Alexi Polenur for his tireless efforts to get us to this milestone.

Until recently, use of Oracle database with freebXML Registry required applying several manual workarounds to limitations within the database.

The freebXML Registry team (formerly ebxmlrr team) is pleased to
announce the release of version 3.0-beta1 of our royalty-free
open source implementation of the ebXML Registry standard.

The new version provides a near, feature complete implementation of
Registry Full conformance profile for the OASIS ebXML Registry 3.0 [4]
standard. The only missing feature is support for Single Sign On (SSO)
based on the Registry SAML Profile. This implementation therefor
currently only claims conformance to the Registry Lite profile for the
OASIS ebXML Registry 3.0 standard.... read more

announce the release of version 3.0-alpha2 of our royalty-free
open source implementation of the ebXML Registry standard.

The new version provides most of the new features of the ebXML
Registry 3.0 specifications. It should be noted that the ebXML
Registry 3.0 specifications are not yet final. Future versions of
our software will track any changes to the ebXML

version 1.0-alpha1 of our open source OASIS ebXML Registry. The registry implements version
2.1, the very latest version, of the OASIS ebXML Registry specifications.

The ebxmlrr project is pleased to announce the general availability of a developer download of its client package named ebxmlrr-client. The ebxmlrr-client package provides an implementation of the JAXR API that is compatible with the OASIS ebXML Registry V2.x (version 2.0 and 2.1) standard.
