I was looking at http://wiki.dspace.org/CurrentReleaseToDo and was
thinking about this task:
"I18nise input-forms.xml ? (i.e. replace <label> and <hint> with
references to keys from Messages.properties) e.g., <label>Plain label
text here</label> OR <label key="jsp.submit.label"/>. Presumably would
need change to DTD. -- Assignee: NO ONE"
I wonder if it's better, given the configuration file nature of this,
rather than direct UI configuration, that we instead have this file
itself in different languages? Otherwise it makes customisation locally
a bit more tricky, and means that implementers have to change the
messages file to change the language, but also add entries to the
messages file when making their own custom submission systems.
Can we make it input-forms_en.xml and so forth, and have the relevant
form picked up on the fly?
