Is it possible to show DrvIcon only as a process, and not also as a running application (see Task Manager)?

Dear user,

Yes, it is possible to show the process only in the list of "Processes" and not in the list of "Applications".
This feature will be in the next release of the application.

I agree! It will be better without "vista drive icon" (ver 1.4) in applications task of windows task manager.
