Hello! The requirement of my company is the following. Linux ServerA : Installed a 3D display card hardware. Linux ServerB : Installed a 3D Application, but don't install the 3D hardware. When the user is in the ServerA, he want to run the 3D application of ServerB. He rlogins the ServerB and runs this 3D application, the ServerB's 3D application should use the 3D hardware of ServerA. How can I implements this requirement? Do you have any good idea about it? Thanks! If you really need this functionality and don't mind purchasing a new graphics adapter, the NVidia drivers do support this pretty well. I get good performance over a 155Mbps ATM network. I don't have any "real world" apps that use this. The closest thing I can cite would be "flightgear". It normally runs in an 800x600 window in default mode (nothing disabled) at about 125 FPS. Over the net the frame rate drops to 25~50 FPS depending upon whats being rendered.. Clearly slower, as expected, but still usable and, from the user perspective, the Navion responds in real time. (Software only frame rate is about 1 FPS.. not usable). Other apps do yield flaky behavior... e.g. tuxracer won't run at all (which is just as well because it induces motion sickness in me.)
