Hello,
Would it be possible to have a checkpointing feature, allowing to stop the current job at any point (for example when the computer needs to be rebooted) without having to restart the whole job ?
Currently, this seems to exist only between audio and video and between passes. But for some movies, this is very insufficient, as encoding a movie on a not so slow computer needs something like 8 - 10 hours.
Is it complicated to save the current (memory) state in a temporary file when stopping a task and/or quitting the program in such a way that it could be resumed after reload from the exact point where it was left ?
... would be a very nice feature ...
