The program crash when I enter a .mp4 file with x264 video and AAC audio. It shows that a problem in a C++ library file or something.

It may have been fixed in beta 8. Can you give it a try and report back ?
You need a supported AAC DirectShow decoder to decode AAC (either RealAudio or FFDShow).

Does this still happen with RC1?

Same problem with Dr.DivX 2.0.0 OSS (2006-08-03).

I tried to encode one MKV file wich is h264 encoded, I still get the same problem... :-( Even with the latest beta.
I seem to have the same problem, h264 MP4 video with AAC coded audio in version 2.0 OSS Beta 2 from 2006-10-04.
I get the following assertion: Program: drdivx.exe File: h264.c Line: 3914
Expression: best_i != INT_MIN
Maybe this helps?
