#322 Any date range for reports

It would be useful to either be able to specify any date range for reports that are split into periods (such as calendar months). It would also be useful to be able to specify and save commonly used reporting periods. to use in these dates. This could take the form of some sort of common dialogue for relevant reports to specify a date range, use some sort of simple range (e.g. calendar month) or some sort of saved date range.
