Here's a work in progress cut of my HelpDesk module.
It should just unzip into your local dotproject
directory (you should get a new directory under modules
called helpdesk).

Then, use the modules area under the "System Admin"
link to install it.

Andrew Eddie

You will also need to install the dp.class.php file in
the ./classes directory to get this to work.

will the helpdesk module be project specific ?

I have a need to be able to track project issues, requests,
etc. I have actually almost finished creating my own issue
tracking module to allow me to report issues, requests, etc
    against a particular project.

I must admit the way dotproject has been designed makes it
very easy to develop custom modules :)

Thanks Richards. Yes my intention is to give it the ability
to link back to any other dotproject module. Just got to
nut out the model for this and make it easy to use.

    Andrew.

This module also needs an table
called 'dotproject.helpdesk_items' where can I find the
    structure?

    INSTALL SCREEN SHOTS

Unzip the helpdesk.zip file (and put the dp.class.php file in
the ./classes directory). Login to dotProject and click
on "System Admin" -> "View Modules".

You should get something like screenshot 1.

Click on the install link next to "helpdesk".

You should now have screen like shot 2.

Click on the two links hilighted and you should be ok to start
    playing.

    Hi Andrew,

This looks great; any idea when it'll become available in a
    regular release?

    Greetzzz,
    Lars
PS. I've been hacking together a substitute for the System
Lookup Keys and the System Lookup Values... If interested
    I'll mail you a screen-dump...

Does any one have the Structure for the SQL. The setup.php
file doesn't seem to be adding all the structure.

    Thanks
