Attached is my suggestion for adding .NET Framework 2.0 to the components.xml template.
A couple of disclaimers:
- I've only added it for English.
- I've indicated that the component is applicable for all versions of Windows going back to Windows 98. In reality there are a few prerequisites, for example with Windows 2000 you need SP2, and you need Windows Installer for the older versions of Windows.

I have just included .NET 2 but not Windows Installer 3.
