Printing with CUPS

Hi,
i try to print with cups. It works with lpr -l from the
dosemu-console (echo) but from some Apps I get wrong
LineFeed/EOP's, so I get nearly 50 pages (all with one
or two lines) which is normally one page. I get always
an "up and down arrow" on the first page, and then all
the time before the pages end.
Some kind of wrong dos->unix character conversion? on
real ms/freedos-machines it works, only with dosemu
not. (I tried it with 1.2.0 and 1.3.1)

Mail list may have an answer for that. Search it or ask there.
IIRC it is a problem with printer filters on the linux side,
which
you have to disable.

What sort of printer are you using? Which printer driver
and PPD?
If you print to a file and then print the file under Linux,
does that print properly?
I've been using CUPS with line printers and dosemu without
any problems.
If your printer prefers raw output, add "-o raw" to the
printer options.

Roger

At least your printer printed something! My print jobs sat in the queue for a while, then disappeared without printing a blessed thing!
