I would like to see Dorgem to allow the user to specify
an image to be uploaded to the server either right
before the program closes. This would make it easier
for people to show that the cam is offline instead of
having to manually upload an image. I've seen this is
less stable webcam programs but would love to see
Dorgem to offer it. Thanks.

Very nice idea. This should be in every store event, so it is
quite some work. I'm afraid it won't make it in 2.1.0.

I know it is some more work, but its even better then
uploading such an image by the software:

With a small PHP Script you could check the date of the
recent image, and if its older then x minutes the page
    displays a "Offline" Image.

I have not written it yet, but its just a few lines of code, and
most webspaces support php these days.
This way such a image would be shown if the webcam PC
    crashes for example.

It is a *very* good idea to solve it server-site with PHP. If
you have it finished, please send it to me directly or attach it
here, so I can include it in the next release.

I have just emailed you the php snipplets, one for writing an
img-tag, one for reading-and-outputting the whole image via
    php.
