I followed the instructions to relocate the indexes:
# Where the indexes are stored. Note: The DocFetcher daemon currently ignores
# this setting.
#indexes=C:\path\to\indexes\folder
indexes=E:\DocFetcher
But that didn't work.
I also tried
indexes=E:\DocFetcher\to\indexes\DocFetcher
If the DocFetcher daemon prevents this, what do I do?
Thanks,
Bob

Hi,
If I remember correctly, this setting only affects the portable version of DocFetcher. Did you use that one?
Best regards

Also remember that, according to documentation, the \ need to be escaped, so path should read: indexes=E:\\DocFetcher\\to\\indexes\\DocFetcher
Though you may have put the double slash in your post, the forum seems to strip one out, I've had to put triple \ for it to show double \
As Quang said, only works on portable version.

I just tested setting a different indexes path with the non-portable version of DocFetcher, and turns out this works, too.
So either the backslash escapes are missing, or perhaps DocFetcher is unable to create an index at the specified location due to permission issues.
Anyway, I'm closing this bug report for now, since OP hasn't responded.
