I can run read only indexs no problems with the following.
AllowIndexCreation = false
AllowIndexUpdate = false
AllowIndexRebuild = false
AllowIndexDeletion = false
ReportObsoleteIndexFiles = false

This the problem happens on close that a crash dialog comes up. Apparently docfetcher rewrite program-conf.txt on close. Read-only database with read only docfetcher inistance is what I am after. The only thing in my way is the fact docfetcher does this. The admin instance with write access is only accessable to 1 user. I am currently using 1.1.11. If I use settings=C:\path\to\settings\folder in path.txt to a read-write location everything else works read-only.

readonlysettings=true would be useful. I have already changed 5 flags to get this far 1 more is not a problem.

    Hi,

    readonlysettings=true would be useful.

    Okay, I'll add a flag like this in one of the next releases.

    Best regards
